The inflammatory response to burn injury is well recognised for burns greater 20% TBSA but has not been described smaller burns. aim this study was describe the systemic young with small-area Morbidity In Small Thermal Injury Children (MISTIC) a multicentre prospective observational cohort that recruited 625 patients age over eighteen months across three sites England.
